The Supreme Court has squashed the NLSIU Bengaluru’s notification for a separate entrance exam i.e. National Law Aptitude Test, NLAT 2020. The court in its verdict ordered that the admissions to the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore is to be done on the basis of CLAT 2020 examination.
Students who want to take admission at NLSIU and who have appeared for NLAT 2020 would now have to appear for the CLAT 2020 examination. The CLAT 2020 is scheduled to be held on September 28, 2020. The court has also directed that the admissions in all 22 National Law Universities will be done on the basis of CLAT 2020 examination.
