Behera Mounika and Sopeti Hema Sree, two girls studying in GMR Varalakshmi Foundation (GMRVF)-run institutes in Andhra Pradesh will be studying in American community colleges for a year, with all expenses paid.
The entire expense of the selected candidates are borne by the American government. Both the girls — Behera Mounika and Sopeti Hema Sree — are second-year graduation student at SGCSR College, Rajam of Srikakulam district, and will soon be flying to the US to pursue their dream courses.
They have been recently selected by the US Consulate General, Hyderabad. They both belong to a poor family. Both candidates will start their courses in January, 2021, as it has been slightly delayed due to Covid-19 this year.
