“Students of classes 6 to 8 will get a chance to attend bag-less classes for 10 days to get vocational training under the New National Education Policy (NEP) 2020”, informed the Minister of Education Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank while answering a question on NEP. “During these classes, the students would be trained by local vocation experts such as carpenters, gardeners, potters, artists, etc”, he added.
Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank had answered the queries of people regarding NEP. During this session he answered the questions of many people and also informed about the vocational training for students. He also said that these types of opportunities to learn vocational subjects will also be available to students throughout classes 6-12. Vocational courses through online mode will also be made available to the students.
