17 teachers have been tested positive for Covid-19 in Pune before the schools are re-opened in the city. As per the Pune Zila Parishad, 17 teachers out of 5,671 have been tested positive for Covid-19 in the test conducted in the rural areas of the city.

The Pune Zila Parishad also added that in the future more teachers and teacher’s supporting staff will be tested for Covid-19.

As per the state government guidelines, the schools in Pune are going to re-open from tomorrow.
