The Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training Department has decided to cancel the affiliations of seven pharmacy colleges in Punjab. The decision has been taken because in the last two months mass copying in the exams had been seen. In the offline exams, word-to-word are matched in the answer copies, and in online exams solved papers are also matched.
Technical Education Principal Secretary, Anurag Verma said that both the reports clearly mentioned mass copying was done in seven pharmacy colleges during examinations held in September and October. The seven colleges are Vinayaka College of Pharmacy, Vidya Sagar Paramedical College, Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Pharmacy, Lord Krishna College of Pharmacy, Krishna College of Pharmacy, Aryabhatta College of Pharmacy, and Modern College of Pharmacy.
