The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jodhpur has tied up with Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Jodhpur to start a joint programme in Medical Technologies. This joint venture will offer masters and dual degree (masters and PhD) programme in the field of innovation in health-care services.
The main aim of this programme will be to produce deep-tech innovators in the field of medical technologies.
As per an IIT Jodhpur statement, the programme will primarily encourage the health-techno innovators to initiate a start-up and venture into entrepreneurship. This program will also give a boost to the Government’s MAKE IN INDIA initiative.
