The schools in Arunachal Pradesh are going to re-open from November 16 for the first time after the Covid-19 lockdown. To ensure the safety of students and to inculcate a sense of patriotism among the students, the students are advised to wear special tri-colour Khadi Face Masks. The masks have been arranged by the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC).

The KVIC has supplied almost 60,000 Khadi Cotton Face Masks to the school children. The masks are totally washable, reusable, and biodegradable. They have been manufactured in such a way that it can absorb 70% of moisture and give a proper passage for the air to pass through.

The Government of Arunachal Pradesh has decided to re-open the schools for the students of class 10th and class 12th from November 16. The marks will be distributed to the students after the students reached the schools.
