As per the UGC Guidelines, the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is going to resume its classes from November 23 onwards in a phased manner. The University has also formed committees for the proper implementation of the classes and monitoring of guidelines and SOPs issued by the state.
In the first phase, only final year students of Ph.D. programmes of science streams will be allowed to visit their respective labs. The other departments will be reopened after analyzing the whole situation.
BHU is the first college to re-open in the state after the gap as per the state government’s order. The state government has allowed the colleges and universities in the state would reopen from November 23 with only 50 percent attendance students on a rotation basis.
