Union Human Resources Development Minister Mr Nishank had on Thursday said that a committee consisting of experts, including from the National Testing Agency (NTA), had been asked to submit its recommendations latest by Friday. The decision was to postpone both JEE and NEET was taken on the recommendations of the four-member committee.
Now, the JEE Main – entrance exam for admission to undergraduate level engineering courses will be held from September 1 to 6 and JEE Advanced will be held on September 27. NEET will now be held on September 13. This is the second time this year that the exams have been postponed. These were to be held in April and May, respectively.
