Defence Minister Inaugurated the Model of Anti-satellite Missile System

The Union Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh on November 9 has inaugurated the model of the anti-satellite missile system. The system has been inaugurated at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) Headquarter, New Delhi.

This missile system is a symbol of national technological advancement. It has been developed to preserve the historic moment of Anti-Satellite (A-SAT) missile test “Mission Shakti”. The Missile test was conducted by the DRDO on March 27, 2019 from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Island of Odisha.

Rajnath Singh and the Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari had also witnessed the demonstration of the Fire Detection and Suppression System (FDSS). The FDSS has been developed by DRDO for passenger buses.
