The Schools, Colleges, and Higher Education Institutes will remain closed till December 31 in Jammu and Kashmir. The government has taken this decision due to an increase in coronavirus cases in Jammu and Kashmir. The Education Department of Jammu and Kashmir has also allowed the students of Class 9 to Class 12 to visit their schools on a voluntary basis to take academic help from their teachers.
As per the guidelines released by the Education Department, students of class 9 to class 12 will be permitted to visit their schools outside the containment zones on a voluntary basis, to consult their teachers and take their guidance. To attend the schools, the students need a written consent letter signed by their parents before coming to school.
