Educational Institutions to Reopen from November 2 in Assam

The Assam Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that all the Educational institutions in the state will reopen from November 2. The institutions are advised to follow all the Covid-19 protocols.

The Minister further added that the private schools and coaching centres will reopen for students of Class six to the postgraduate level with certain restrictions. If the private schools want to continue online classes, then they are free to commence the online classes.

The classes will continue on voluntary basis and the students need to get the permission from their parents and guardians.
