Five Undergraduate Medical Seats to be Provided to the Ward of deceased Covid-19 Warriors in Puducherry

The Government of Puducherry has reserved the five undergraduate medical seats for the children of deceased Covid-19 warriors in the Union Territory. The candidates who have qualified for the NEET 2020 examination and are the wards of deceased Covid warriors and front-line workers can apply for these five seats.

The candidates can fill the applications at the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare Services by December 17. The seats will be provided to the candidates under the scheme announced by the Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan last month. The scheme was announced to aim at honoring the noble contribution made by Covid-19 warriors who have lost their lives due to the infection or died accidentally on account of Covid-19-related duty.
