For the ease of students and to promote the online education culture, the Government of Haryana is going to provide tablets to Government school students of Class 8 to Class 12. The decision has been taken after the reopening of the schools in the state has been delayed for 10 more days due to an increase in the covid-19 cases.
The government schools in Haryana were scheduled to reopen from November 30 but later on, the government has extended the reopening of schools till December 10. To ensure that the students get proper education during this period, the teachers are asked to carry out online classes for the students. The state government believes that through this scheme of providing tablets to the students, the students will be encouraged to take online education more actively.
