IIT, Bombay Announces to Commence Classes in Online Mode

Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay has announced to start its first-year undergraduate course in online mode. The orientation programme for the upcoming batch will be held on November 11 and the classes will begin on November 16.

The first week will be considered as ‘zero week’ because in that week, the students will be guided about how to attend the lectures and exams online. The students need to be equipped with all the necessities to attend the classes online.

Every year the IIT, Bombay starts its academic session of the autumn semester from August and ends it in December and spring semester from January to June. But due to Pandemic, this year the semesters would be conducted from November 2020 to March 2021 and from March 2021 to July 2021.
