Jharkhand government has announced to postpone the reopening dates of the schools in the state. The schools were scheduled to be reopened from December 16, 2020. Now, the schools will reopen for classes 10 and 12 which are outside the containment zones from December 21 onwards. The medical, dental, and nursing institutes are scheduled to be reopened from Monday onwards in the state.
The students who want to attend the classes will need a consent letter from their parents before coming to the schools. The online classes will also remain to carry on for the students who are not able the attend the classes offline. The government has directed all the educational institutes need to follow the SOPs issued by the Ministry of Education and UGC.
