The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in a notification has announced to re-open the university for Ph.D. scholars in a phased manner from November 2. Candidates can check the official notification on the official website of the university.
According to the notice, the university has opened the classes for the day scholars of final year Ph.D. research scholars from November 2. The University will also remain open for the 9B students and project staff who need to do laboratory work in Science schools and special centres.
The second phase of the reopening of the University will begin on November 16. In this phase, the Ph.D. research scholars (hostelers) can come to the University to submit their Ph.D. thesis on or before December 31, 2020, or before June 30, 2021.
Phase two will be implemented after the successful completion of Phase one.
