Karnataka Education Minister S.Suresh Kumar has announced 11 days Dusshera Holidays for undergraduate colleges in the state. The Colleges will remain closed from October 21 to November 1 for Dusshera Holidays.

S.Suresh Kumar tweeted, “I have instructed the Departmental Officers to declare Dasara Leave for Undergraduate Lecturers from 21.10.2020 to 01.11.2020.”

The state government has earlier decided the schools and pre-university colleges would not re-open this month. The decision to keep colleges closed was taken due to the rising cases of the virus in the state.
