The Madhya Pradesh High Court has ordered all the schools to recover only tuition fee from the students. The order will remain valid till the coronavirus pandemic will be declared over by the government. Also, the court has directed that the schools cannot increased the fees for the academic year 2020-21.
The schools are also ordered to pay the salaries of teaching and non-teaching staff regularly and a reduction in salaries shall not be more than 20 percent.
The students/parents shall pay the tuition fee which will not include fees towards other heads such as library charges, laboratory fees, and computer fees. The entire physical activities in the schools are at standstill and the teaching is imparted through virtual mode, therefore, we direct that there shall not be an increment in fee for Session 2020-21, the order stated.
