After the gap of almost eight months, the Himachal Pradesh government has announced to reopen all the medical and nursing colleges in the state from December 1 onwards. The students need to have the covid-19 negative report to enter inside the college premises. The Health Secretary of the State, Amitabh Avasthi has also directed the students to get the prior written consent of the parents or guardians before attending the classes.
The nursing classes including the MBBS and BDS courses for the first and last year students would start in the first phase. The colleges for the students of other courses would be called to attend the classes from December 7 onwards. The night curfew has also been imposed in the four districts of the State till December 15. The schools and other colleges in the state will remain closed till December 31 due to the rise of Covid-19 cases.
