The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) and the Indian Sign Language Research and Training Centre (ISLRTC) have signed an agreement jointly to make textbooks and other educational material in Indian Sign Language (ISL).

The NCERT textbooks in Indian Sign Language (ISL) will help the hearing-impaired children in accessing the educational resources.
