To regulate the spread of Covid-19 Virus through books, a team of innovators of the North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) has invented a book sanitisation machine. The sanitisation machine is automatically controlled. It can sanitise all kinds of reading materials without causing any kind of damage to it. The machine uses ultraviolet (UV) rays and heat technology to sanitise the books.

About the functioning, in one cycle of about 45 minutes it can sanitize up to 150 books at a time. The sanitisation process costs up to 20 paise per book.
