The Union Education Minister has made it clear that there will be no proposal to relax the UGC-NET requirement for lectureship posts in colleges. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has made a statement regarding relaxation in the requirement of UGC-NET examination for lecturership. He has made the statement in the response to a written question in Rajya Sabha.
“The University Grants Commission (UGC) has informed that there is no proposal at present to relax the UGC NET exam for lecturership posts,” Nishank said.
