Primary schools reopen on New year’s day

On, January 1, primary schools in Assam reopened, and around 50 percent of students attended the classes. After eight long months, classroom teaching resumed in primary schools of Assam, with strict guidelines. As per the officials, over 50 percent of students attended the schools wearing masks, were constantly using sanitizers, and maintained social distancing.

Students of classes 1,2 & 3 will attend school on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays while those studying in classes 4 & 5 will go to their institutes on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
