The Punjab and Haryana High Court has ordered the private schools of Punjab and Haryana to only tuition fee. The order is only for the schools who are offering online classes on regular basis during the lockdown period.
The school managements are also ordered to file the balance sheets for the last seven months within two weeks. Also, the students are not bound to pay the transportation fees.
The court also said that the schools have to pay the regular salaries to all the teachers and staff members, whether permanent or non-permanent, which they were getting before the lockdown was imposed.
