Punjab Education Department has cancelled the No Objection Certificate (NOCs) of nine private schools. The Schools were not following the proper instructions issued by the Government regarding Covid-19.
The complaints against these schools were mostly filled by their staff members regarding the payment. Either the schools are not paying the salaries or are being paid less by their respective schools.
Education Minister Vijay Inder Singla in a statement said that after receiving the complaints against these schools, the education department served notices upon their management. The department found their replies unsatisfactory and their NOCs were cancelled.
