The Rajasthan Education Department has issued an order for all the CBSE affiliated private schools of the state to cut down the tuition fees by 30 percent and the state board affiliated schools to reduce their fees by 40 percent for Classes 9 to 12.
The schools are going to reopen from November 2 in the state. The department has also submitted a report with SOP guidelines to the Chief Minister’s Office for requesting suggestions on the same.
The order states, “the CBSE reduced the school syllabus from Class 9 to 12 by 30 percent, therefore their school tuition fees should be reduced by 30 percent. At the same time, the Rajasthan Board has reduced the syllabus by 40 percent, so they should reduce the fee by 40 percent.”
