The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to reopen the schools in the state from November 2 for classes 9 to 12. The state government has also extended the current academic year till April 30.
The schools are also directed to follow all the SOPs issued by the government. The schools will be opened in a phased manner, only 16 students will be allowed to attend the classes at a time.
Commissioner of School Education V China Veerabhadrudu said that proper social distancing and sanitization will be maintained in the schools. The students and teaching or non-teaching staff will mandatorily wear the mask and wash their hands.
