The Maharashtra State Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad has announced that the schools for classes 9 to class 12 would reopen from November 23. The Minister has also announced that the SSC and HSC Board Exams will also be held after May 2021.
Gaikwad said that the Maharashtra Government has also reduced the syllabus for SSC and HSC exams by 25 percent. The Online Classes are being conducted for all the classes but the school re-opening for senior classes is must.
The HSC and SSC exams are usually conducted in the month of February and March. However, due to Covid-19 Pandemic, the examinations would be postponed and are not likely to commence before May.
