Minister of School Education, Rajasthan Govind Singh Dotasara has announced to close the schools in the state from December 25 to December 31 for the winter school holidays. The decision has been taken due to the rapid increase of Covid-19 cases in the state. The schools will remain closed for the students, while teachers will have to attend schools daily.
The online classes will remain in force to avoid any gap in the studies of the students. The teachers will also need to be part of the Social Media Interface for Learning Engagement (SMILE) project. Through this project, online learning materials would be sent to teachers through their WhatsApp groups.
