The Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand Education Department Om Prakash has released the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for reopening of all the educational institutions of the state. As per the orders, the schools and colleges in Uttarakhand are reopening soon.
As per the SOPs issued, the students need to undergo the RT-PCR test and carry its report along on the first day of the classes. They also need to get the written consent of their parents to attend the classes. The college will re-open only at a 50% capacity of students. The students who are pursuing the courses which have practical examination will be given preference.
The colleges are also advised to conduct classes in different shifts and smaller batches to maintain social distancing inside the classrooms and laboratories. The theory classes will continue to take place online.
