Uttarakhand Police has set up a special grievance cell in Dehradun to address the grievances of residents of Jammu & Kashmir living in Uttarakhand. The Director-General of Police (DGP) Law and Order Ashok Kumar has launched the cell today that is on October 4.
The cell is being set up to stop the incidents related to attacks, intimidation, social boycotts or harassment against the residents of Jammu and Kashmir.
Ashok Kumar said, “We have appointed Mamta Vohra the additional superintendent of police (ASP), as the cell’s nodal officer.”
