Prime Minister Narendra Modi had virtually launched three New projects in Gujarat on October 24, 2020. The projects which are launched are ‘Kisan Suryodaya Yojana’, a pediatric heart hospital at the U.N. Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre in Ahmedabad, and a 2.3 km-long ropeway project on Mount Girnar.
The first project, ‘Kisan Suryodaya Yojana’ will aim at providing day-time Electricity from 5 am to 9 pm. The project will help the farmers in irrigation and farming purposes in the state.
The second project inaugurated by the PM is a pediatric heart hospital at the U.N. Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre in Ahmedabad. The hospital is made with an investment of ₹470 crores by the State’s Health Department.
The third project which is a ropeway o Mount Girnar is the longest temple ropeway in Asia. This 2.3 km ropeway is developed by Usha Breco with an investment of Rs 130 crore. It has 25 cabins, including one glass-floored cabin with a capacity to carry eight passengers at a time.
